Grandmaster Chen Zhenglei's First Irish Indoor Student.

In a special ceremony in Manchester, head instructor of Ireland Tai Chi Association, John Collins has been awarded one of the highest honors in Chen Style Tai Chi, to be officially accepted as a direct student of the current heir of Chen Style Tai Chi Grandmaster Chen Zhenglei. Acceptance as an indoor student is based on a persons dedication and skill in Tai Chi. John continually strives to improve his knowledge and help promote Tai Chi in Ireland.

 


SUMMER CAMP DATES.

The Summer camp with Master Liming Yue will start on Thursday 15th of July and finish on Sunday the 18th of July - covered will be Qi Gong training, 11 form, 18 step, Lao jia and if people have specific requirements we will try and accomodate - cost is 15 euros per hour.

Thursday 15th July 2010 : 10:00 AM - 1:00PM; 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Friday 16th July 2010 : 10:00 AM - 1:00PM; 2:300PM - 5:00PM

Saturday 17th July 2010 : 10:00 AM - 1:00PM; 3:00PM - 6:00PM

Sunday 18th July 2010 : 10:00 AM - 1:00PM; 3PM - 5:30PM

Venue: Hilton Hotel, Malahide Dublin

 


  TAI CHI AND QI GONG CLASSES 2010

New Tai Chi & Qi Gong Classes starting in Galway & Loughrea 6 & 7th of September. During the Summer classes will continue, on a drop in basis


Galway City Classes are on Mondays. Venue: Creaven House, The Claddagh, Galway, 6-7pm Qi Gong; 7-8pm Tai Chi,there are no hidden costs, joining fees or uniforms.


Loughrea Town classes are on Tuesday's. Venue: Temperance Hall Loughrea. Tuesday Morning 10-11am, Evening 7:30pm 8:30pm and Senior Class 8:30pm - 9:30pm there are no hidden costs, joining fees or uniforms.

Qi Gong Level 1 Instructors Course September 2010

The Association is offering an Instructor's Training Course for people interested in becoming Qi Gong Instructors. Potential instructors can teach - warm up exercises, silk reeling energy exercises and qigong breathe exercises. Specificaly covered will be Ba Duan Jin and Zhan Zhuan Qi Qong.The course is over two days, but it requires preparation work in advance. All potential instructors should sign up as early as possible so that we can send you the full course material for you to study at home prior to the course. You are also recommended you attend some of the relavant courses organized by the Association as well.Starting the 18th and 19th of September, Carlton Hotel Galway. Cost 350 euros

BECOME A QUALIFIED TAI CHI/QI GONG INSTRUCTOR; NEW TEACHER TRAINING COURSE STARTING SEPTEMBER 2010

Tai Chi seminars The association will be offering a teaching program to assist people to become a qualified Chen tai chi and Qi Gong Instructor. You will be awarded a certificte based on your level, which is recognised with Tai Chi Union UK, and you can then take a Chineses Whushu grading - internationally recognised.
