
Nicola has been practicing Tai Chi since 2006.She is based in Dublin and teaches in various locations throughout Dublin. Her own training has been in Southern Wu Short Form, Old Yang Long Form, Hun Yuan Chi Gung, Bagua, Chen Foundation, Chen 11 Form, Qi Gong Breathing, Silk Reeling Energy and 5 Animals Qi Gong. She has regularly attended workshops from various Tai Chi elders and continues to train different styles of Tai Chi and Qi Gong daily. Nicola has completed a Southern Wu Short Form instructor training programme and is also a certified Level One Instructor (Chen 11 Tai Chi Form and Qi Gong) from Master Liming Yue of the Chen Style Tai Chi Centre, Manchester, UK. In Nicola’s own words; “Tai Chi began as something I would do to help relax my mind and body to becoming an essential part of my daily life. I used to be active in sports and found Tai Chi and Chi Gung a great way to recover physically and mentally from endurance training . Even during my athletic days, I knew there was more to Tai Chi than I understood.
